I Love You Still

I love you still
And my one thought that is not
Of you but of God, reminds me
That I must pray for you still

And my one desire of many
That is not of your charm
Is that of the time in which
The world for us was just us

When we were the world
A night seemed so short
As to fly our souls onto
Paradise.  No more is still

Nothing is left but joy in
Fading memories. Life is now
As it never was for any of us
A crucified emotion, not a still
