Will We Ever…

Will it ever be the same?
Will we ever love again with such passion
That we’ll melt the very Sun that heats the Earth?
Will there ever be another time for joy
That can be shared and be laughed upon?
Will we ever feel one more enchanting kiss
That will turn our lips into fairly magic?
When will the time come — if ever, at all —
In which we’ll unite our bodies again — make love?
Will we come looking for each other’s company again
When the pain in life becomes too acute?
Or will life be so sharp that even after infinite time
We will have to remain more than an abyss apart?
Will we ever seek the old time of love again
And find a way to meet at least at a distant place?
Perhaps when we become stars, we’ll shine
Our light on each other’s hearts one more time.
Yes, yes, perhaps we will, some day….
