My first blog on my new site!

Hi everyone!

I am very excited to finally have my own, permanent Website up and running! It still needs some work — and by some I mean about 98% 🙂 — but I am already glad to have it. In fact, I was just commenting to Kristin that the first thing I did was post my résumé. A day later, I received 3 e-mails from IT recruiters. Unfortunately, their job offers were outside of Michigan. Anyway, I also helped Kristin setup a “Mappleview Photography” site on Wikispaces. Later on, I’ll help her setup PayPal payments so she can make some money off her really great pictures. 🙂

I suppose I should write about something…. I’m just not sure what. Let’s see… the pool opened at my apartments today. They had a pool opening party with free food and prizes. April Turek came along. The water was freezing — or at least close enough — but we still had fun. Funny thing is, we had ice cream afterward.

O, and finally — I am very excited that I’ll volunteer at the Spectrum Health Cancer Center very soon. I think it opens on June 30, 2008. I am not too happy about doing this while I’m taking 5 summer classes, but o well.

Nightly night,
