The work
As Senior BI Developer and Functional Service Lead I led BI delivery for an international organization. I directed the Agile sprint process, led and mentored a global team of four to six developers, and designed more than thirty BI data and reporting assets, including dbt pipelines, Snowflake datasets, and dashboards across financial reporting, laboratory operations, certifications, auditor performance, and IT service management. The reporting gave leadership new visibility into accruals, profit margins, operational performance, and IT metrics. I integrated Snowflake, API, SharePoint, Azure Blob Storage, and Power Automate data into cohesive SQL views, co-authored the enterprise data architecture documentation, and trained application support staff in Power BI so that nearly 90 percent of BI support work moved to level 2.
Application support
Earlier, as Senior Application Support Analyst Lead, I coordinated a global team of four to eight developers and support staff against service-level agreements and ITIL practices, and resolved complex Java, BI Publisher, and Oracle PL/SQL issues with 100 percent customer satisfaction ratings. Support coordination, documentation, and knowledge transfer improved second-level support performance in Latin America and reduced global SLA breaches, and customer satisfaction survey responses increased tenfold. I authored more than one hundred technical articles in English and Spanish and interviewed and mentored team members.
Knowledge silos
I built an enterprise data dictionary by consolidating information from more than ten departments, documenting business processes, data definitions, database schemas, and relationships, with entity-relationship diagrams and data models in Visio, Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler, ModelRight, and erwin Data Modeler.
